Bring your previous prescriptions, all current medicines (or a list), recent blood reports, sugar or blood-pressure diaries, and any scans or discharge summaries you have.

Only if fasting blood tests are planned. If a fasting sample is needed, reception will tell you when you book — otherwise you can eat normally.

A first consultation usually takes 20–30 minutes so that history, reports and treatment can be discussed properly. Follow-up reviews are shorter.

Consultations are available in English, Telugu and Hindi.

In many people, early Type 2 diabetes can go into remission with structured weight loss, diet change and medical support. Each patient is assessed individually to see whether remission is realistic.

Below 5.7% is normal, 5.7–6.4% suggests prediabetes, and 6.5% or above indicates diabetes. Your personal target is set based on your age and overall health.

HbA1c is usually repeated every 3–6 months, along with yearly kidney tests, lipid profile, eye screening and a foot examination for people with diabetes.

For hypothyroidism, thyroxine is usually lifelong but simple — one tablet a day with periodic monitoring. Some thyroid problems are temporary and need only short-term treatment.

GLP-1 medications are well studied and effective for suitable patients. They are prescribed only after assessing your health, and progress is monitored at follow-up.

Yes. Continuous glucose monitoring, flash sensors, insulin pump therapy and carbohydrate-counting guidance are all offered, with training on how to use the data.

Yes — reports can be shared on WhatsApp or emailed to drksranganayakulu@yahoo.com so they are reviewed before your consultation. A physical examination still needs a clinic visit.
